Vigilante is here, MileHiCon 41 0 (0)

Vigilante is on the bookshelves! Ran myself ragged with signings, conventions, and the release party. Much of MileHiCon 41 was a blur, although I remember best the panel where we considered whether paper books would be totally replaced with e-books (that question never goes away, does it?) Of course, I didn’t think it possible that […]

Monument Art Hop, my new Sony Reader 0 (0)

It’s been a busy month, what with the RMFW Colorado Gold Conference, a signing, my birthday, etc. The signing was at a local bookstore (Covered Treasures) during the last Monument Art Hop of the summer. If you live near Monument, CO, then I recommend getting to those summer Art Hops, as well as the outdoor […]

Senior citizens shame the kids on last ladder at Balcony House 0 (0)

We had a great family vacation and get-together down near Mesa Verde, where we rented a house with gorgeous views. The distinguishing event of this vacation had to be watching my mother determinedly climb the ladders of "Balcony House" at Mesa Verde National Park. Swine flu at USAFA, and Vigilante proofs 0 (0)

The Basic Cadet (Doolie) we’re sponsoring caught the swine flu after arriving at the U.S. Air Force Academy, so he couldn’t visit us on his one day off in early July. Actually, our sponsored cadet is really my husband’s-sister’s-nephew-by-marriage and in Cajun terms, he’s family. It looks like he’ll be okay and he’s been given […]

Taking a breather 0 (0)

I feel like a bear who just dragged itself out of its winter cave, blinking blearily at the sunshine. What? Did I miss spring? (Not all of it, according to the chilly temperatures in Monument, CO.) I’ve been holed up working on Pathfinder, running out only for emergencies such as the PPW Conference and the […]

First signing of Peacekeeper, COSine SF convention 0 (0)

Too much happening in this month. My first signing at the Lone Tree Barnes & Noble went well (or at least "pretty good for an unknown author," the Community Relations Manager kindly said). Honestly, the staff there is incredibly nice. Any opinions?Illuminating (0)Interesting (0)Useful (0)Ho-Hum (0)
