Well, here’s a small SF convention in Colorado Springs that’s fun and friendly, whether you’re an old hand or just trying a convention for the first time. […]

COSine 2010 0 (0)

I attended COSine again this year and even though it’s small, I have a lot of fun (perhaps more so than at larger conventions). In the picture, I’m relaxing between sessions with my friend and critique partner, Robin. More COSine 2010 pictures are in the Image Gallery. Vigilante is here, MileHiCon 41 0 (0)

Vigilante is on the bookshelves! Ran myself ragged with signings, conventions, and the release party. First signing of Peacekeeper, COSine SF convention 0 (0)

Too much happening in this month. My first signing at the Lone Tree Barnes & Noble went well (or at least "pretty good for an unknown author," the Community Relations Manager kindly said). Honestly, the staff there is incredibly nice. Any opinions?Illuminating (0)Interesting (0)Useful (0)Ho-Hum (0)

Finishing our basement 0 (0)

This month and last month have disappeared in the chaos of finishing our basement. To save money, I acted as my own contractor as well as doing the painting, caulking, backsplash tiling, and detail "stuff." My writing time disappeared, as well as any hope of concentrating on the story for Kedros book 3. Any opinions?Illuminating (0)Interesting (0)Useful (0)Ho-Hum (0)

Denvention 3, I meet my editor 0 (0)

Denvention 3 was a blast, partly because I’ve never been to a World SF Convention and partly because I could relax and just be a participant. I didn’t have a book out yet that I had to plug, so I could attend readings and panels and enjoy myself. Highlights for me were the Hugo Awards […]
